The Society's 116th Annual Meeting took place April 6–9, 2022, in Washington, DC, at the Washington Hilton, and focused on the theme "Personalizing International Law." This year's Annual Meeting Committee, co-chaired by Rachel Lopez (Drexel University Kline School of Law), Kish Parella (Washington & Lee University School of Law), Patrick Pearsall (Allen & Overy LLP) developed the theme and program for the conference. The four-day event welcomed both in-person and virtual attendees, including leading jurists, academicians, and practitioners in the field. All content is available to the public free of charge.

As part of its 2022 Annual Meeting (April 6-9), the American Society of International Law invited members and colleagues from around the world to participate in a special series of sessions focusing on current issues of importance in the field of international law and relations.

The 2022 Global Engagement Series was presented in cooperation with leading regional societies of international law. The sessions are available worldwide, free of charge. The playlist includes content from previous Global Engagement Series as well.
