The ASIL International Legal Theory Interest Group will sponsor a one-day symposium on "Reexamining Customary International Law" at Tillar House.  Interested law students, lawyers, scholars, and members of the general public are warmly invited to attend.

The program will include three panels with distinguished scholars and legal practitioners on:

  • Theoretical perspectives on customary international law
  • The roles of consent, utility, history, and national law
  • Customary international humanitarian and human rights law

Conference Time 8:30 a.m.-5:15 p.m. (EST)
