ASIL – University of San Francisco School of Law International Law Career Panel and Speed Mentoring Event [1]
The American Society of International Law (ASIL), in co-sponsorship with its Academic Partner University of San Francisco School of Law, will host this forum to give law students and new legal professionals exposure to experienced international practitioners. The panel portion will begin with a brief introduction of the panelists and several questions presented by Elizabeth Andersen, ASIL’s executive director. The panel is designed to provide insight into professional development opportunities, as well as to illustrate the various avenues the panelists took into international legal practice. Following the group discussion, each panelist will “host” a table at which a small group of students can spend 10-12 minutes asking more questions of the experts. Students will then be able to rotate among tables, thus having the chance to speak directly with multiple panelists.
