Join us for Panel Discussion co-hosted by the World Bank Legal Vice Presidency (LEGVP) and the International Development Law Interest Group (IDLIG) and International Organizations Interest Group (I0IG) of the American Society of International Law (ASIL)
This inaugural Panel Discussion, convened by the World Bank Legal Vice Presidency, will introduce IDLIG and explore the role of IFis in mobilizing private sector participation to scale-up development impact, bridge financing gaps, and drive innovation for infrastructure, energy access, climate action, and job creation. The panel will also consider the international legal and normative frameworks available or needed to better support the mobilization of private capital and govern the conduct, accountability, and partnerships between IFis and private actors in development settings.
