Global Implications of the Ukrainian Refugee Crisis [1]

The International and Comparative Law Program at GW Law School is hosting a panel event discussing the global impact and ramifications of the Ukrainian refugee crisis. Alice Farmer, Senior Protection Officer at the UN High Commissioner for Refugees; Bill Frelick, the Director of the Refugee and Migrant Rights Division at Human Rights Watch; Licha Nyiendo, the Chief Legal Officer at Human Rights First; and Olena Mykhalchenko, Legal Analyst at The World Bank will be speaking as panelists. Associate Dean Rosa Celorio will be moderating the discussion. Visiting Associate Professor and Fellow Leah Calabro will be providing commentary. This is a hybrid event and can either be attended in person or via Zoom.

ASIL's International Refugee Law Interest Group is co-sponsoring this event.
