The Fifth Annual Bingham Centre Lecture, delivered by Irene Khan, Director General of the International Law Development Organisation, will address the potentially game changing nature of the Sustainable Development Goals and the essential contribution of the Rule of Law to their realisation. It will take stock of progress and highlight both the challenges and opportunities that have emerged since the Goals were adopted more than two years ago. Finally, it will examine why the success of the SDGs is of critical importance for the private sector and offer concrete suggestions on how business can contribute to achieving and sustaining development.
