22nd Annual McLean Lecture in International Law and Documentary Screening [1]

Join Professor Eric Bergsten, former senior legal officer and secretary of the United Nations Commission on International Trade Law, for the 22nd Annual McLean Lecture in International Law at Pitt Law. Bergsten’s remarks will be on "The Genesis and Development of the Vis Moot: A Platform for Global Legal Education and the Rule of Law." The program will end with a screening of the 2015 documentary Afghan Dreams [2]. which shows the perseverance and empowerment of four Afghani women who travel from Afghanistan to the Hong Kong Vis Moot and receive training from Pitt Law’s Center for International Legal Education.

A reception in the Alcoa Room for all attendees will follow the lecture. ASIL is a co-sponsor of this event.
