BG Group v. Argentina: The Oral Argument Before the Supreme Court Today [1]
On December 2, 2013, the Supreme Court will hear oral argument in BG Group PLC v. Republic of Argentina, the first ever investment arbitration case to come before the Court. The International Dispute Resolution Committee of the DC Bar's International Law Section, in cosponsorship with ASIL's Howard M. Holtzmann Research Center for the Study of International Arbitration and Conciliation and the Washington Foreign Law Society, and in cooperation with the International Arbitration Committee of the American Bar Association's Section of International Law and the International Committee of the American Bar Association's Section of Dispute Resolution, will host a luncheon program to discuss the case immediately following the oral argument.
