The Permanent Missions of the Republic of Cyprus, and the Republic of Peru to the United Nations invite you to attend a side event session on Identification of Customary International Law: Perspectives from the Fields of International Criminal Law and the Law of the Sea. Three topics from the Third Report of the International Law Commission on identification of customary international law will be touched upon: the application of the two-element approach (as a general introduction); the role of treaties and resolutions; and judicial decisions and writings.
