Jill McC. Watson
Jill Watson was the Director of Library and Information Services for the American Society of International Law (ASIL) in Washington, DC, where she worked for 22 years. From 1997-2006 she was Co-Editor of the continuously updated online ASIL Guide to Electronic Resources for International Law and still authors the "Treaties" chapter it contains.
Jill was co-founder, designer and Project Manager with Marci Hoffman of the University of California at Berkeley Law School, of the Electronic Information System for International Law (EISIL). EISIL, launched in Fall 2004 after four years of development, is designed to guide researchers expeditiously to quality international law materials on the web. It is the recipient of the International Association of Law Libraries' (IALL) "2004 Website Award."
