Launching the American Society of International Law's ASIL-Midwest Interest Group With support from the University of Illinois College of Law, the University of Chicago Law School, and the Center on Law and Globalization, ASIL will inaugurate its new Interest Group for members based in the Midwest region. The launch will include a series of events at the University of Illinois College of Law, Champaign, IL, and the University of Chicago, Chicago, IL, featuring ASIL President Lucy Reed and ASIL Executive Vice President and Executive Director Elizabeth Andersen. This session will provide an opportunity to hear from Lucy Reed, one of the top practitioners in international law in the world today, on the international financial crisis.
