The American Society of International Law with support from the International Organizations, International Economic Law, and Law in the Pacific Rim Region Interest Groups and co-sponsorship by the Asian Society of International Law, hosted a panel discussion that considered, within the context of international law, the Association of Southeast Asian Nations ( ASEANs ) legal personality as an international organization as well as what impact this has on the legal nature of regional free trade agreements.
