Washington DC
Sponsored by the International Law Section/International Dispute Resolution Committee of the DC Bar. Co-sponsored by ASIL.
This luncheon program will highlight upcoming cases at the International Court of Justice (ICJ) and how developments at the ICJ will affect both international law and the Court itself. The Court is now being used by an entirely new universe of countries and is now addressing a wider range of disputes than ever before. Indeed, post-colonial concerns about the Court have been replaced by concerns among the wealthiest of countries. And boundary disputes abound. Our distinguished speakers, and our eminent moderator, bring an unequaled level of expertise and judgment to these issues. We invite you to listen in on their conversation. Speakers include Ruth Wedgwood, David A. Colson, and John R. Crook.
