David J. Bederman

Dear Friends,

I regret to inform you that long time ASIL and Journal Board of Editors member David J. Bederman, died on Sunday, December 4, 2011.

In the law, David was a giant, a person seen once in a generation. His passing is a tremendous loss, and we mourn his absence as our colleague, teacher, and friend. Our thoughts and prayers are with his wife and daughter.
