Claims Policy
Claims for undelivered publications or books will be honored for six months from the date of publication.

Submitting a Claim
After referring to the ASIL Publication and Valid Claim Dates chart below, please fill in and submit the Claims Form.

Please note that you must fill out a separate form on each publication for which you are filing a claim.

If the publication or issue on which you are attempting to file a claim is not on the list above, there are a few possible reasons:

  • It has not been published yet.
  • It's too early to file a claim. You must wait until 8 weeks after publication to place a claim.
  • It's too late to place a claim. ASIL only accepts claims for 6 months after publication date.

In lieu of using this online form, you may mail or fax your claim. Please include the following information:

  • Current date
  • Recipient's name
  • Recipient's address, phone, fax, and e-mail
  • Publication name
  • Publication cover date if it is a periodical
