Summer Associates Briefing Series

As part of ASIL’s career development program, the annual summer associates briefing series is designed for summer associates at participating ASIL partnership law firms.

The briefing sessions provide associates the opportunity to engage with international legal practitioners representing a broad range of specialized areas of international law. Real world perspectives on the development of practical lawyering skills related to careers within the public and private sectors of international law are emphasized throughout each session.

Career Panels

ASIL in partnership with the New Professionals Interest Group annually hosts career panel events featuring international legal practitioners from a variety of international legal practice areas. Panelists discuss their own career paths, provide advice on developing a career in international law, and offer their informal views in an open mic setting. The panel sessions are free and open to all interested in pursuing or enhancing their careers in international law.
