Submit an Academic Bulletin Entry

The Academic Bulletin enables academic institutions to promote their programs and leadership in the growing field of international law and legal education. The Academic Bulletin will be issued three times (February, May, and September) within the academic year to all ASIL members. Please use the form below to submit your Academic Bulletin entry.

Format for submitting your advertisement:

  • Preferred file extension: Word Document
  • Please limit your contribution to no more than 1000 words
  • Please submit announcements that are relevant to each issue's assigned theme as follows:
    • Winter Issue (Deadline January 16, 2012) Topic: International Law Research and Publications
      Profile recent or forthcoming casebooks, law review articles, and other publications from faculty; highlight groundbreaking research, fieldwork, and other projects involving international law and institutions.
    • Summer Issue (Deadline April 16, 2012) Topic: Study Abroad, Clinical, Co-curricular, and/or Internship Programs
      Profile a variety of your law school’s special programs that provide study abroad or experiential learning opportunities that are relevant to international law.
    • Fall Issue (Deadline July 16, 2012) Topic: Faculty and Curriculum
      Profile members of your law faculty that teach international law related curriculum and provide brief descriptions of international and comparative law courses in the forthcoming academic school year.
  • Please provide instructions on the placement of all image files that you would like included when submitting your announcement.

Format for submitting your entry:

  • File extension: PDF (may include external links and photographs), not to exceed 1MB.
  • In your submitted pdf, please have a clearly marked 50-100 word introductory paragraph. Only that paragraph will be included in the body of the Academic Bulletin email, but this paragraph will be followed by a link to your full pdf submission. If no clearly marked intro is given, the first paragraph of the entry will be used.
  • Entries should be no more than 1,000 words. Entries over 1,000 words will be sent back to you for editing. 
  • We cannot guarantee that entries received after the listed deadlines will be included.
  • Entries should be emailed to partnerships@asil.org. If you do not receive a confirmation email, your entry has not been received.
