The distinguished American Journal of International Law (AJIL) has been published quarterly since 1907. It features articles, editorials, notes and comments by pre-eminent scholars on developments in international law and international relations. The Journal contains summaries and analyses of decisions by national and international courts and arbitral or other tribunals, and of contemporary U.S. practice in international law. Each issue lists recent publications in English and other languages, many of which are reviewed in depth. The Journal is indispensable for all professionals working in international law, economics, trade and foreign affairs.
A subscription to the Journal includes four issues (both print and electronic) from time of payment (with the annual index being part of the October issue). ASIL membership includes a subscription to the Journal, starting with the first issue published after dues payment. Membership rates range from $55 to $210, depending on member type.
Freestanding (non-member) subscription price: $230.00 per year ($205 for electronic delivery only), plus $40 for shipping the print version beyond the U.S.

The Nominating Committee of the American Journal of International Law's Board of Editors invites nominations for members of the Board of Editors to be elected in the spring of 2011. Nominations are based primarily on scholarship and creativity, as demonstrated in books, articles, and other written work appearing over a period of years, including, but not limited to, publications in the Journal. Other factors taken into account include areas of expertise or professional perspective or discipline. Suggestions, along with supporting statements and information, such as a curriculum vitae, a list of publications, and, if possible, copies of significant publications, should be sent by September 15, 2010, to the AJIL Nominating Committee Chair, c/o either of the Co-Editors in Chief:
